Prep for Success - Welcome to our NEW Educators!

Each year, the Stafford Education Foundation (SEF) participates in Prep for Success, an event for new educators in Stafford Schools. Held two weeks before the start of the school year—sometimes even before teachers get to see their new classrooms—this week-long orientation is a chance for new staff to feel welcome, learn about the district, and meet peers.

During the event, SEF hosts a table at the Community Resources Fair. This gives us the opportunity to introduce ourselves to new educators and explain our role in the school system. It's also the perfect time to let them know about our Innovative Teaching Grants and remind them that the grant cycle is open until September 5.

SEF also hosts the annual Prep for Success Reception. This year, the reception took place at Adventure Brewing, where new educators could enjoy each other's company in a relaxed, less formal setting over dinner and drinks.
